Project Summary
When Arizona Bank & Trust needed to renovate its newest location, the site of a former Luby's restaurant, they asked BrandPartners, the community bank's design/build partner, to create something totally different than the existing restaurant architecture, while incorporating the branded elements of their recently completed prototype branch in Mesa.
To achieve the goal of standing out and making people take notice, color and architecture played a major role in the design of the new facility. The use of black in Arizona's desert-like climate helped separate the structure from others, while the inclusion of a distinctive entry tower served as a "signature" element for the bank.
The neighborhood-friendly interior included an information zone, cyber café and community wall, all reflective of Arizona Bank & Trust's commitment to its community. Today, with a total of six locations in the East Valley, the bank continues to build relationships through friendly, highly personalized services, in a customer-centric environment.
